I like manuals on the track, but Auto's are good at the drags. But for everyday driving my personal preference is a manual. That was ok... but my foot kept going for a clutch.I must admit - the change was very smooth in that. a lot better than the older ones (like the AU's and EF/EL's) Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/587-do-you-prefer-auto-or-manual/#findComment-5777 Share on other sites

Wonder what the FPV cars will have considering the sports shift on the base cars Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/587-do-you-prefer-auto-or-manual/#findComment-5782 Share on other sites

Much better that the previous models. But I must say I would prefer the manual as for me I felt more in control. But that's just me. It has to be a manual. Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/587-do-you-prefer-auto-or-manual/#findComment-6031 Share on other sites
dylan Member 5 Member For: 22y 3m 23d Posted 13/01/03 10:18 PM Share Posted 13/01/03 10:18 PM I find manual best as when you let the clutch out you always have 100% drive from the engine, no slippage. You are more in control of the engine, it doesn't kick back a gear unless you want to. Although after driving XR6T auto I prefered to leave in drive.
