If it makes you feel any better I have been quoted $2800 ("conservative figure") this week to fit and tune the following:

Rapid V3 Kit

60 lb DEKAS

Walbro 340

Waste gate/flapper mod

Turbo oil feed line

Spark plugs

And a separate $120 to have the 4.5 Hurricane CAT installed

ALL of the above parts I have supplied myself also.....

So yes, living in regional areas blows!!!

P.S.

I have been quoted $2300 by a VERY repeatable Victorian tuner to do the same job and at a guess a much better job with a much better outcome??

I agree with the others, that quote is way to overpriced!!

Get some Siemens 60's from rapid, they're the cheapest around at present!

Fit Exhaust System: couple hundred max to fit exhuast

Intank Fuel Pump: $220 auto barn and read up and fit yourself I did mine one saturday mornin just make sure you use the right hose

6 x Injectors: dave can supply them for a good price and will fit for $100

Flash 2 Tuner with 3 RDP custom tunes $1500 is about right I guess for tune, flash tuner

And you will need a cooler to make more then about 280kw

F6 CAI and Panel Filter, will make 300 pretty easy with the right gear but anything over that will start to restrict

Talk to dave he will have all the answers

And mate, my car made 320rwkw with a safe tune using the F6 airbox/panel filter with plazmaman piping
