I see you have got an FG, well I'm not sure its my phone because It has worked perfectly with literally tens of other cars through work. so now im confused to the max because I have a nokia that works 100% on it. Although the guys at the ford dealership have the same issue with there own cars.

I have the exact same problem with mine.

For the first 2 weeks, it worked perfectly. I had the bluetooth connected but also have the ipod connector plugged in, and when a call came in it muted the music, and the phone call came thru the speakers with the touch of the button on the steering wheel. Even the volume buttons changed from the stereo to adjusting the phone volume.

I thought how F*kn good is this . . .

Now its all turned pear shaped. I get the same probs as you, so much so that I have unpaired my iphone from the car.

NO one at Ford has a clue either.

Maybe the iPhone doesn't like F6's!?!

I have been experiencing the same problems with my F6.

However, I rang apple and they assured me that after I install the next firmware update, everything will work fine.

I hope that their advice is actually correct for once.

Bad News! I upgraded the firmware on my iPhone to version 3 and guess what..sweet FA of a difference!

I have had the company send me a Blackberry Pearl and this works perfectly..so it confirms the issue is the iPhone.

Really dissapointed actually as I was going to purchase the iPhone TomTom holder and Maps to use in the car saving me from having two devices tacked to the car, but now I dont think I will bother.

Shame really as I love my iPhone...but I suppose it cant always be perfect. :laughrolling:

what the..... ah found out what yar on about a developer version, only available to paid iphone devolpers..

well I hope it works on wednesday otherwise that will suck major balls.

Very true, it is released on the 17th. The version I have is the version released to paying developers and will not change with the release version (GA). Apple in their history have NEVER provided their developers the release a week earlier and then changed the code for GA.

Not to say that cant happen admittedly, but the chances are very slim to say the least. They would ruin their "paid to beta test" revenue scheme.

I truly hope they do change the GA code and sort out the Bluetooth..but I cant see it happening.

Hi All,

I have an FG XR6T and iPhone 3G 3.0 (not GM, commercial release).

No change, works for a while and then bluetooth no longer works.........bugger.
