Has anyone got any diagrams or pictures of somewhere I can obtain power from a +12v ignition source? The gauges need it as to calibrate properly.

Just use the supply off the back of the cigarette lighter socket.

that's where the power is coming from atm, the ciggy socket. It needs a +12v feed that stays active during engine cranking.

I don't think you'll get a 12 volt feed when the engine is cranking due to volt drop.

You can run a fused cable from the + terminal of the battery if that helps?

the ignition switch will have a 12volt ignition feed out that is on with the ignition and also while cranking just pick it up from there and fuse it! easy as, as for the colour I dunno of the top of my head mate!

PHANTOM XR6 he doesnt mean it has to always be 12v as your rigfht during cranking it will drop to 9-10 volts but as long as the feed doesnt cut out during cranking the gauges can continue calibration. gauges dont need anywhere nere 12v to opperate anyway for exactly that reason

best bet is to get yourself a test light and start searching for a constant source, or go directly to battery as already mentioned
