May 21, 200917 yr #1 Ok, can I run a boost controller with a flash tune so I can run the high boost tune and then use the boost controller to limit it down to a more friendly level for everyday driving then just flick it up to high boost when I want to play?would this cause any problems in the ecu like over fueling or anything like that?Cheers and sorry if this is a noob question,Tim
May 21, 200917 yr #2 Yes you can run a seperate boost controller, that's how I have mine setup easy to switch boost on the run instantly
May 21, 200917 yr #3 I had that thought when I first got my car custom tuned. Got a 14psi tune for weekends and a 10psi tune which I would use for my daily duties and for when my misses drives my beast. Did it for a week after that I cbf'd taking the 2mins it takes to flash change it and have kept it at the 14psi ever since. Once you get use to the power, loosing the power is a major disappointment. With 14psi you learn to feather the throttle more and hardly ever step it out in the bumper to bumper Sydney carpark/traffic
May 21, 200917 yr #4 Author Cheers for that,ok then I suppose my next question would be on the high boost setting does a T chew heaps more fuel than if it was running on a lower boost setting?
