Good ones? Are the 'Ebay specials' no good?. What would you reccomend?

only bad experience I had was with a set of champion coils ,one died after only 3months ,go genuine ford or PM straughsberry I think he's tried a few sets of different ones

might be worth checking them again , though I don't think this is your problem

I bought the champ ones when I thought it was coils causing this issue for me , then after we got it sorted through tuning ,next time we did work on it about 3 months later we found one of the champ coils was dodgy , so mines running the original coils again now with no drama's

Exhaust?

Might explain the power being limited as well.

I fixed a N/A the other week that would rev to 3500rpm and then just sit there like it was on a limiter.

Turned out the inside of the cat had broken away and turned sideways effectively completely blocking the exhaust.

I dont mind buying some ebay ones to find the coils arent the problem, as mic said they will need replaced at some stage a may provide a small improvement. A set of genuine ones a are 4 maybe 5 times the price so I wouldnt go down that avenue when they are an unlikely cause. I dont want to buy into the advertising speel too much but they do quote them as being better than genuine?!
