this same thing would happen to my girl friends lancer but only on the high way soon as you touch the breaks even a little the front end of the car would shake as well as the steering wheel never got the problems fixed though sold the car

I had similar symptoms with a car a few years back.......

Turned out to be loose brake caliper.........just a suggestion.

Have the exact same problem, it started when I would apply the brakes slighty on highway driving and then once the brakes warmed up a bit they would shudder severe no matter how fast I was going, they said it sounded like a couple of things, so got it in to get the rotors machined and a wheel alignment today, sounds like this may not be the problem though...

I highly doubt its your rotors coz I thought the same so I brought brand new slotted rotors and it still does the same and yes its at any speed very severe I think I'm going to check the calipers & get a wheel balance just like BionicXR6T said.

And see what happens
