I don't know if I'm imagining it, but performance appears to vary quite markedly on some occasions. Its pretty cold in adelaide, so dense air is not the issue.I'll have to get a Gtech unit to establish some baseline figures for comparison..... it might be, after all, just that I am getting too used to the standard power output.Coming to think about it, after driving the wife's car for a day, getting back behind the wheel of the T did feel better. Jimmyboy, get behind the wheel of a Late model camira for a few hours, and then hop in your T. It'll restore your confidence. But I think the real solution will be to go for a modification.... 330kW would be a good start..... Id be assuming yes, because your turbo is now making more boost? I do not know about waste gate vavle but the standard blow vavle really sounds good not over the top.Ian :o Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/5705-chip-torque-mod/page/5/#findComment-46850 Share on other sites

The sound is sublime really...........One word of warning for all MANUAL gearbox owners, beware of the power increase, and I mean it. My gearbox is already starting to make some funny noises and it has only been one week. You can even hear the synchro's working between gear changes when it is quiet, and there is a whir readily audible from 1st to 2nd............... Hmmmmmmmm. Tremec time, 6 new bigger injectors, and more boost!Ian, I hear you about the ability to flatten hills! Anyone that has a chance to ride in a modded T with more boost - do it. You will be VERY impressed. You know, absolutely no-one wants line me up (not that that sort of thing is condoned here - purely fictional you understand and for research purposes only). I was really hoping to see how much quicker it actually is.........
