Interesting. With the power levels shown there I thought the times would be quicker.

As an example my old BA 4A ute did 12.56 @ 115.68MPH with a 1.97 60ft and 260rwkw's.

I always thought the ZF's would be quicker than the old 4 speed. Is this not the case?

Just a thought...... there isn't a direct 1:1 gear ratio in the auto ZF 6speed box like there is in the BA 4sp auto.

Most dyno runs on the 6sp are probably done in 4th gear.

Maybe the operator hasn't adjusted the software correctly to account for that factor.

Dyno numbers can be flawed..... the sure measure for performance gains are ET's and trap speeds.

Bone stocker Tornado at Heathcote on a 30 degree night last year not long after I got it.

Was in Heathcotes infamous right lane so I think the MPH is a bit high personally, for the track temps.

Hopefully be back at the track in the next few weeks to better that time on a cooler night, I think it's got a 13.3 in it as-is.

How are you guys without custom tunes and the torque management removed launching these things?

I did that time just doing a quick stall in Performance mode, no boost to speak of.

I've played around with the 'stall in 2nd' method on the street, and it's a bit hit and miss in regards to going a bit too far on the throttle and having it close? I know that once I'm staged and the adrenaline is flowing I'll screw it up even more LOL
