Well thought I would post some pics of my std clutch kit that was in my bf phoon. The car has only done 42 000 and at 16 000 took it to ford they said there was no problem I beg to differ.

there was actually only a very tiny bit of wear on the clutch's, just the three hot spots on the pressure plate and sandwich plate. it actually looked like there was allot of clutch flexing happening

Just go's to show never trust ford service department anything to get out of warranty work. Nothing my new clutch is fitted and feels like a hilux clutch that's how light it is also no rattles or vibrations.

clutch's are fine it looked like it was flexing the sides were pulling away, the car always had a very high pick up in it. Ford told me it was fine haha

^ I did the same thing when new. Smoked a bit clutch, thought the damn thing was slipping. it wasnt just wasnt fully engaged. engagement point is almost at the end of travel.

yeah was all good before more power was added then she started slipping. this car has always had a high pickup even when I bought it 2 years ago compared to the other manual typhoon I have driven spoke to ford service they told me there was nothing wrong with it at that point of time.

I really dont think you can be critical of Ford or their service dept in this instance.

I would be more inclined to say that its driver related and that its not a warranty job.
