He's gonna look into what other head work can be done cheap while its off! And when it's time for mt forged motor, I might save a bit too! What do I need to do to the exhaust to get my 300kw? Apart from the cat obviously. Is the typhoon intake good enough, or do I need something better? And I found a Monza IC on ebay today for $450, will that do the trick?Sorry, bout all t he questions! I would love the plazmaman kit, but as I've decided to aim for a bit less power, Im not sure if it's worth spending so much money & the plazmaman cooler doesn't look like it can be used with the stock cross over piping & airbox. Thanks Scotty, I hadn't even started looking at suspension & brake packages yet. But I do have the bigger rotors from a BF on it & it's been lowered. It has major brake shudder, so its getting new pads & rotors this week. The shocks are also a bit tired, so I'm thinking a pedders sportsryder kit might be next. If I wanted to upgrade my v8 Late model camira from 300 to 11ty billion kilowatts I would have had to throw trhe engine in the bin and start all over again. I've been working on the theory that I would have to go all the 1st time round, or do it twice! So what about the exhaust then? Just a cat for now, or do the lot??? Also consider removing the centre muffler with straight throughs or hot dogs. Won't add a heap of power but will sound heaps better. First mod for some.Cheap to Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/54422-difference-between-edit-tune/page/3/#findComment-829484 Share on other sites
