Pretty sure the 340 is the one with the right sized inlet/outlet

as far as I can see the GSS 340, GSS 341 and the GSS 294 are the most common choices. apprently the GSS 342 has alot of fiddling to put it in.

just wondering whats best if I dont plan to get a surge tank setup

Yes, the others have different fittings.

Really when it comes down to it if you are stretching to mod, you probably shouldn't do it. In saying that however alot of people are only running a Walbro with no surge tank and they have been fine. Just try and keep the fuel level above 1/4 if you plan on giving it a bootful (especially around corners)

I got a 341 put in by my tuner. if you dont get a surge tank, be careful of wot under 1/4 tank. the accelleration pushes the fuel away from the pick up= engine starving/ cough/ splutter. im in that situation- now its time for a surge tank of some sort....
