So I've done a bit of weeding, and now have a large mound of well yeh... weeds! They're all dry and dead etc, just need to get them out of here. and I'm far too lazy to take them to the tip!

Question is; is there regulations (possibly only for WA guys, but other thoughts accepted) against burning this stuff off or rules as to how much/when/where etc?

Cheers

Dan

Consult your local council. In many parts of Aus it is now illegal to burn off, but it will depend largely on your local councils bylaws. Try their website and if you cant get an answer there, give them a ring on Monday.

Also, If you are allowed to do this, show a bit of couresy to your neighbours and let them know, so that they can get the washing off the line and close their house up.

If you have masses of stuff or a decent area to burn, I'd say check with the local fire services/fire warden. You might need to get a fire permit or something. If it's just a smallish pile of crap, maybe it would just accidentally and spontaneously catch on fire? :beerchug:

Can't get around what the local laws are?

Know any farmers? They will do it for you...

Otherwise, its is the 'good sort' im sure a few of your mates would help you get rid of it over the silly season!

1. Open beer

2. add precisely the amount of fuel that everyone will refer to as "too farken much you nutcase"

3. light fire, enjoy while drinking beer.

4. explain to missus missing eyebrows and desert like backyard.

5. Fill supersoaker with fuel and have fun pyro style while drunk
