I just got a 3 1/2 exhaust on my car and just recently noted that my mil light comes up on my dash I checked the manual and it basically says it is to do with the emissions but still to contact ford and have it fixed just wondering if I dont get it fixed am I going to cause any damage to my car at all please help.

Hey mate, did you have the cat replaced too? Generally with a flash tuner you can turn the light off.

If your car is stock and you get Ford to turn the light off, it will come on again once the car is restarted and runs out-side of the emission reg. parameters.

Is the car tuned, and if not, do you feel it overboosting under hard acceleration?

also. ford can only wipe the error.. u need to get it custom tuned to completly remove the code so it dont keep popping up
