Guest Guests Posted 19/10/08 09:43 AM Share Posted 19/10/08 09:43 AM It cost me & a mate $2000 to rent a F430 for 24 hours in Vegas, had it taken off us after about 4 hours . $5000 deposit via cc and we had to have proof of insurance, funny enough premium travel insurance covers cars you rent . No one would let us rent one in L.A at all........ Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/50841-f6-for-hire-wtf/#findComment-752127 Share on other sites

Guest Guests Posted 19/10/08 12:52 PM Share Posted 19/10/08 12:52 PM Anyone know of any exotic car rental joints in WA? I looked a few months back but could only find one where they drive you around... Guest Guests Posted 19/10/08 10:12 PM Share Posted 19/10/08 10:12 PM lol 4 hours... can we guess what u were doing to get it taken off u?Got a warning for doing a u-turn on the mainstrip then got pinched 2 hours later going alittle over the limit, seeing as I didnt have an international licence he didnt bother doing anything other than having the car towed back to the car yard and making me get back from the station. Needless to say he warned the owner that I wasn't allowed back in anything decent so I ended up with a new hummer on 26's and a huge system.....Never get an international licence, if you get caught speeding you can loose your licence back home. Guest Guests Posted 20/10/08 06:34 AM Share Posted 20/10/08 06:34 AM I'm pretty sure you get away with it so long as you're a tourist & are licensed in your own country. If you're there on a working visa or as a resident you need a valid US license.
