That sucks dude :beerchug:

Try walking around your local streets & calling out the dog's name repeatedly... It'd surprise you how close it could actually be! Some scumbags stole 2 of my staffies a few years back & I found them by doing what I said just a few blocks away from where I lived...

Good luck & hope you get him back :spit:

Dude, if you havent already, go into Better Pets and Gardens at Caversham (corner of lord and benara), speak to Jorge (cause he understands stuff like this!) and ask to put up a decent A4 flyer. Lots of dog owners walk through those doors and our customers are always vigilant :) If you cant get in there email me at matt@betterpetsandgardens.com.au and I'll sort something out

Sadly I come across this too often and it sucks but most of the time the dogs get found.

Email everyone on your list and get them to pass it on and put up fliers on street posts. A friend of mine did this just recently and it took her about 10 days of searching but in the end it was hiding in some guys bushy backyard and he saw the flier

Far more pets go missing and get lost then in fact get stolen. I note your fist post changes to a missing dog and unless your dog is unique then it is more then likely an escape artist. Dogs that are home all day, day after day, get very bored and find some amazing this to do in all of this spare time. I actually have video of a small dog escaping from a large locked kennel, by climbing a chicken wire fence on a funny angle and pushing out through the roof that was 10 foot high.

Unless your dog was locked away in a kennel and the broken lock is on the ground then I withdraw the above.

Good luck.

We have had two break ins over the past 8 weeks, last time Dakota was outside and interacted with the people. The gates are all locked, there are no gaps in any gate where she can get out, the fences are all a minimum of 7ft tall. She can barely jump up onto the couch, let alone scale a fence.

She has been stolen by whomever broke in last time, I guarentee you that much!

All is well, she has returned.

She is skinny, has a sore paw, but was with another family for the last few days. I dont know if it was dodgy or not as he sent his kids to return her.

She is happy to be home, just as her owners are happy to have her back!
