hi all

got my ft2 today and noticed in the instructions to remove(disconnect) the fuel pump and electric fan fuses b4 starting the flash.

was just wondering does really hav to be done first? wanted to check b4 I try it out.

do u put the fuses back in when finished flashing,I know sounds sturpid but just want to check first

I have never taked the fuses out to flash my car... and mine works fine....

There was another thread on this exact issue a few days ago... You don't have to do it as almost everyone & every tuner that have used the CAPA box haven't done it in the past with no issues. It's apparently suggested to do so to prevent your battery from going flat whilst the tune loads with ignition on, but a minute or two is hardly going to kill your battery :tonguepoke:

its generic instructions.

the flash tuner with the big memory chip can hold generic tunes for 500 different cars.

some of these may have issues but ours has no problems.
