The reason for my comment, is that if the car is tuned to suit your mods, I am curious as to whether your problem returns as you will overwrite the updated ford tune the minute you reflash it.

As for the diff bush, cant hurt to ask

Are you saying when they claimed to have "reset the transmission ecu" they have removed my custom tune?

I was under the impression it was a separate ECU for the trans the reset...

The car is 100% tuned for my mods yes, nothing has ever been done to the ZF in regards to tuning or servicing etc before this oil/filter/pan change over which then bought on the 'reset'.

my understanding is that if they have flashed your ECU , it will be running the Ford map, not your custom tune.

I am running the ZF edit and this was tuned via the Flash tuner, I am not sure about a separate ECU ?

Maybe one of our resident technocrats will be along to clarify shortly

what do they change with a zf edit and does it make much diff to the car , say two cars both with 300rwkw one with edited zf and the other has factory zf tune is the edited zf car faster or does it just drives better ? cheers trev

What do you think my odds are on getting the diff bush replaced under warranty lol; the only suspension related mods is swaybars, nothing else at all like springs/shocks/lowering/camber kits..

Some servie departments will and others will be real farks about it. There is just no consitency but plenty of BS.

I guess my best bet is to speak to my local dealership where I got the car from, they seem to be s little nicer to me since I got the car there.

Each time I ask the smallest of questions at X dealership I didn't outlay on a new FPV, I seem to get my head bitten off (ford service is awesome I know)

I might think of some other things I would like them to look at and mention it, see if they say "hold up, that ones no longer covered buddy" haha

Is there only 1 diff bush to replace or more?

Yeah the ZF has a seperate ECU....as long as that's all they touched then your edit tune should be fine.

I was thinking that would be the case as it wouldn't drive the way it does if they removed the tune; it would be all over the place and horrible no doubt.

The car was again driving awesome today; just worried about the diff bush now. Is it more or do you guys get the same feeling of 'its one thing after another after another.."
