Hey all,

I'm new to this website as I finally bought a 2003 BA XR6 turbo

I went to Rajab Performance to get it on the dyno and check out what the problem was...as soon as it was run...the problem was diagnosed...

The coils packs were f**ked and the spark plugs havent been changed since the car was made...the car ran s**t at only 140 rwkw at 5 psi max

So I got the coil packs changed and new spark plugs and got my injectors taken out and cleaned and it was done...

The car got put back on the dyno and ran at 207.2 rwkw, the second run 217.5 rwkw and the final run it got 228.7 rwkw!!!!

we were astonished as the car is stock as a rock and it pulled such power...

I have uploaded a video of the car on the dyno

check it out....

the car was running real rough when it hit boost so then I replaced all the coil packs and stuff and now she's running in perfect form...

pulling those sought of numbers I dont think its stock, maybe previous owner had a tune loaded in the car but 228 rwkw is alot of power for a stock xr.

But hey either way you got some good numbers there

the previous owner was a executive for a big company and this car was stock (thus why I bought it)

alot of the people I have told dont believe me but its true...the clip shows it pulling the power...

cant wait to remove the centre muffler and chuck a K & N air filter in it...

I want to still use it for a daily so I'm going to slowly mod it stage by stage...

Id say the dyno is a little high dude.

I had the same thing in my BF.

I had my first dyno run at my mechanics which made 220 odd on the first pull then second was 231kw.

I organised a Dyno day on that same DYNO, I asked my mechanic to double check the dyno before the day and it made 207rwkw's which is more believable.

Regardless, good power!

I'll be taking it down calder once it re-opens!!!

the car drives real good...wheelspin once in top end off boost in 1st, chirps 2nd and 3rd...

I'm real happy with it....planning to bring it to the next dyno day that this forum holds for XR6t's
