hey guys just wondering wich would be the better tyre

I dont care about tyre wear as long as they stick !!!!

I know there are better options out there but this time round im

limited to either of these two brands

so any thoughts and tyre models fire away

mate you really need to specify which model tyre you are talking about. Its like asking, which is faster Merc or BMW - Depends on the model

that's what I want to know which model !

what is the best of each brand and wich is the better of the two

The tyres in those manufacturers that would be best to look at are the Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 or the Dunlop SP Sport Maxx. There are other brands that have better tyres but the cost will increase.

ok, then if you are limited to those two brands I would go with Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3

Apparently the new Goodyear F1 asymmetric is even better than the GS-D3.

my Goodyear F1's handle wayyyy better than my worn Dunlop sport maxxxxxs.... :spoton:

I went to http://www.tirerack.com and checked out the survey results ratings in both wet and dry for the size I was after... 235/40/18 I think it was... at the time the goodyears were 3rd and their rating was impressive... it was silly dollars from there on... it even out ranked alot of expensive tyres... give it a go...
