Aahhh interesting! Might have a look into that Patsie... I was gonna have a crack on VP109 for Motorvation but E85 sounds a bit more cost effective

Most likely E85 Keiran, it has a much higher octane rating than 98 unleaded. Alot of tuners are starting to play with it and are getting very good results. The fuel is only available at a few service stations around the country at the momenet, but it is cheaper than unleaded and gives great results. The only down side is that it uses more fuel to do the same distance. Probably about 75% more fuel for the same distance travelled.

that's right mate with that power the turbo is out of puff but its only dropping 1psi right up top which we have work out will but right at the end of a 1/4 mile run so it should not hurt the times to much. all I would say is do your homework on it, as its not allways ezy to get and they have run out of it before and didnt have any for 2 or so weeks Edited 20/12/08 04:59 AM by toxicf6

got me ute back ,about time and got into the 400 club with 404rwkws in a zf 6speed and 2600 stoolie and running 9"diff with 3.9 ratio wheel spin is unstpable but love it thanks to simmon mark and al

Nice ute, I would love to see some pictures of the 9'' rear end set-up, maybe next time its on a hoist.

sounds like someomes having a tinker around with these things. good on them. I think I might wait a while before I go all out & get a stally for the zf because with being able to boost off the line has seen some good results with practise. (still a abit more for me though)

ZF modifications I use Tony @ Dominello Automatics, has a very good knowledge of the stall and 6 speed auto.

I have one of his stalls now and haven't had much of a play, still managed 11.2 off the foot brake on a warm day, normally we use the hand brake and hold the car which puts huge load on the drive-line.

No I am not running trans cooler, I do know someone who has a aftermarket one on there ZF BF ute with no problems.

I will hunt down some pics for you.

BFF6 diff was built 5 yrs ago by a mob in melbourne how put ads in street machine books just cant think of name .used ba tubes and 9' centre. always had more than 500rwhp through it and 45,000 kms and no problems yet.look in books they advertise at the back
