For example, the XT Falcon is really no longer a "retail" vehicle, we deliver plenty of them to fleet customers via leasing companies etc. Many many people - alot of the forum members in fact - are going to Novated leases or company cars. On the retail sales side of things we are really only selling the high end stuff in Falcon product ie XR6T, XR8 G6E/T and FPV. I'm personally yet to sell an XT or G6.All that said we are starting to gain some momentum in sales, with more FG's on the road the public awareness increases and we get more enquiry. Plus the reviews have been great and anyone that drives the FG can see how well Ford has done with it (Go and drive an FG XT falcon and see what I mean)Hopefully we can get these things out there and people realise its not as expensive to own a Falcon as everyone thinks it is!Sorry if this sounds stupid mate. But , what do you mean ' trade ins taking a big hit'??

I has my 06 VE SS valued for a trade in for the G6E Turbo this week and they trade in figure they gave me was ridiculous. Well under the red book trade in valve and 10k under what I can sell it for privately, which I am now forced to do to cover the remaining $$ I owe on the car.Do you see it improving?

Oil prices have dropped a bit so that may steady the market a little, but I don't think it will send prices back up, because oil could go back up again in another week!
