July 2, 200818 yr #31 Author Yeah took it for a squirt the other week, track had just had the first 100ft layed in concrete, no rubber , green concrete. (Enough excuses) end up running a best time for the night of 12.2 with a 2.5 60ft time and 123.4mph. the other 3 runs wern't too spectactular other than the 122-123 mph.Never ran a 60 ft faster than 2.47 but everyrun was over 122mph. So lots of room to improve the 60ft's and maybe a little more MPH (if the weather stays cool for the next Test and tune)
July 19, 200818 yr #32 Author Well, went back out to the strip last night. It was a bitter sweet affair with the phoon running a PB of 11.4@123mph, then on the last run trying to better that time I managed to twist the front half of the tail shaft blow the center bearing and uterly destroy the tail shaft uni. enjoy the pics.
July 20, 200818 yr #34 Seems to happen a lot with these cars when using an auto. They usually just snap with a manual hahaPoor bastard but 11.4 is still a nice time sure to only get better.
