so $18,000

That's an absolute bargain for what you've finished up with!

I love this thread...

Yeah I'm really pleased with the car now. Took it out for a blast last night. Still only running ~11psi but 1,2,3 she's snappy.. smooth as silk too.

Button clutch combined with the LSD's she's a brutal drive. Hanging to fit the Haltech and push some real timing / boost through it.. Rotational idle, launch control & Antilag. :3gears:

:3gears:

What track's it hitting? Collie I'm assuming

Barbagello for the 6th Nov with No limits - should be good to compare to the ute round the same track. Also get to hit the long track so I'm rapped to be doing that.

30th Nov is Jacks hill for the EVO hill climb.

Haltech's good in the EVO?

I set up an F9A once, (Hmm 12 years ago) I imagine they've come a looong way since then,

ECU is the next step for me in the IX if I want any more power out of it,

it's still steetable, but starting to get all grumbly and growly....

maybe best leave it be for a bit....

Yeah, the E11v2 is a very good unit. The F9A, wasn't that a fuel only computer?

I have a PnP patch loom for a 7 - 9 (possibly 6 aswell) that came with my Haltech if you ever want to grab an E6, E8 or E11v2 - they come up for sale on the evo forums now and then (where I got mine from)

Yeah the F9 was fuel only the "A" meant you could run closed loop, I never set that up though.

I'll have a look at the E11v2, but I've sorta blown my budget for a bit and I think good treads will help my track times a lot more than more power....

Went for a quick run at the test & tune today.

13psi peak, that's only 2psi more than stock (not held, can't figure that out yet!), 60k's on the odo since the engine went in.

This is un tuned, zero timing advance and I'll be pushing an extra 10psi thru her..

Not too bad for the boost..

I have looked at vids from the ute and this little girl is neck and neck to 150kph, as it runs now. The ute ran 12.3's when that vid was taken, and an 11.87 with the MT's on.
