Couldnt find anything directly related here.

Im aware an edit is available for the ZF auto. My question is, does the edit improve the shift speed at all. I.e. from the time im flat out in gear, tap the shifter its a little delayed before engaging the next gear. This being an issue when you come on hard sideways and it bounces limiter.

any info appreciated.

cheers

Jme

If you’re aware there is an Edit for the ZF then maybe you should be telling us as no one here is aware of one apart from the few changes that can be made using the CAPA Edit which only edits the Ford side that talks to the Trans. Not the actual ZF Trans itself.

in a roundabout way F6 Tornado has told you what you are looking for...

The only thing we can do so far with the ZF is tell the cars ECU to change the torque limiting in lower gears. That way the cars can make full boost in 1st and get them off the line quicker. This is of course at the mercy of your gearbox, and how long it lasts...

Thank you.

My reference to edit was any form of electrical interception, be it via capa flash (my assumption) or otherwise. Thanks for clearing it up.

BlueHoon was looking at this over on AFF. There is a module that acts like an interceptor:

Powetrain Control Solutions

Nothing much has been said about it, I have not heard of anyone who has actually fitted it. And it's quite expensive at USD$700 plus another USD$150 for a harness.

It wont happen with capa at the helm of the SCT gear, hopefully things may change in time.
