That kinda doesn't make sense...Is that a statement or a question?

There should be at least 1 pump functional unless the fillup truck is running late!

Shell has been down a long time.

Hi

Unfortunately there was a breakdown at our Sydney refinery and it is taking longer than anticipated to repair the fault and get up to full production. Fuel is being shipped in from other refineries to help cover the loss but this has yet to filter through to the higher octane fuel side of the market.

Regret that at present we have no firm date for the full reintroduction of V-Power

Kind regards

Durrrh, read it slowwwww, .....

It makes even less sense when you read it slow :omg:

But anyway, on the topic (I think) Caltex's refinery broke down up here a few weeks ago as well and there was no premium fuels for a while. What really surprises me is the other servos didn't start gouging the price!

As others have mentioned Shell is out of action.... I remember this happening a few years back when they have the premium juice branded as 'Optimax' took about 2 months to see anything again.... They said it was issues with the refinery but in fact I heard it was due to a lack of a certin component that was used in the mix... Typical...

Caltex went down yes, but didnt really effect anything...

Is Shell playing the same story/game again???

BP iis on average about 2-3 cents higher then Caltex and Ampol on the 98 oct juice... While being recommended by FPV, not sure the three are any different... Heard a roomer again that there is some cross over with the 3 on the 98 oct flow!!!

:)

I got Shell discounts coming out my butt wish I could use them again!!!

There was a story on the news the other night that servos are putting out of order signs on the premium pumps during the low price cycle of each week so they don't have to sell it at a discounted price.

When the price cycle rises on Wednesdays the premium pumps magically start working again.
