Ba Xr6 Diff Moved Off Centre?

Hey guys.. I'm running simmons FR19's with 275's on the rear with king spirng SSL's on the xr6..

since it was lowered (couple of years ago) it has never had a problem with the tyres rubbing the guards going over bumps at speed etc, but just recently the left wheel began hitting the guard (which has been rolled by the way).

I measured the distances between both rear wheels and their guards, and the left wheel is about 10mm closer to the guard than the right wheel.

Is it possible for the diff to move off centre?

Who can I get to take a look at it in melbourne (pref. s.e.suburbs)?

Such a small problem but it's so fcuking annoying.

fyi it only began happening after I got the rear tyres replaced.. maybe the tyres are abit thicker or TTF f*cked something up.

If it were solid axle id say panhard rod. But that's not the case....How is the camber adjusted on the rear of a IRS? Perhaps that needs some tweaking?

hanra might be onto something here...

Jet, stick your head rigt under the back of your car if you can, up on the rear cradle in the middle you should see two bolts with what look like an "oblong" shaped washer behind the nut. These washers should have smal markings on them, a large one in the middle - this should be pointing up. If it isn't, you will be able to tell. If these seem normal, then you'll have to go into a suspension specialist

So there is a manual camber adjustment on these? Or is it shimmed or something? Im still living is solid axle land, but my Mini has fully adjustable camber/castor/height front to rear!!!

yeah there is adjustment on the rear, but not the front ...

hey senna.. took a look and the bolts seem to be aligned correctly..

may have to make a trip to a diff specialist.
