Guest Wingnut Guests Posted 23/06/08 10:29 AM Posted 23/06/08 10:29 AM Is there an oil worth looking at to reduce engine noise with 300+ rwkw?I have a horribly noisy engine on cold start, so much so I cant hear much else so I baby it for the forst 20kms or so.
Adam Here since the start... It's the way engines are designed.Pistons aren't perfectly round when cold. This is to compensate for the different rates in expansion of the piston due to the difference in material thickness around the gudgeon pins as it heats up.
