Hi all,

I'm a new member and I'm looking at getting an 04+ XR6T ute 6 speed manual. I'm not sure where to put this question, but I have found a yellow one on carsales and it's from a dealer called "Melbourne's Cheapest Cars" in Moorabbin. I'm just wondering if anyone has had any experience with that particular dealership or if they have heard anything good/bad about them.

Thanks for your time!

Yan

Dont know anyone that's bought from there but there a high turn over mob and have been around for yonks, so you can be rest assured they wont be closed the next time you drive past the joint like most secondhand dealers you come across......

Yeah, tell me about high turnover! They want almost $33,000 for an 04 that's done 64,000km. Redbook has it listed as $20,000 - $25,000 from memory, but then again, it's a private sale price.

Forget the dealer buy mine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

how much are you after for your ute? I'm in the market for a T, initially had my mind set on a ute but having a bit of trouble finding the exact one I want, where as sedans are a dime a dozen!

Another question - I understand that the BA MKII comes with a 4spd auto and the BF MKII comes with a 6spd auto, how do they compare to their manual counterparts in terms of strength, reliability, speed etc...

Thanks

ZF is the 6 Speed in the BF and as far as I know it is a much better box than the 4 speed. As far as manuals go most BA MK II's and everything after that is a T56 which is a 6 speed, it is a much much better box than the T5 5 speed in the earliest models.
