The SP9000 will wear faster and be noisier than the SP3000 because the former is a better design, offering higher grip levels etc. All upmarket tyres are noisy due to their tread pattern. Tyres with silica are usually quieter though, and as plonky said, will grip better in the wet. The SP 9000 is the better tyre of the 2, hence the price difference. Usually the theory 'you pay for what you get' rings true.
