They took off from Sydney at 3pm, down to Melbourne and then off to Antarctica in a chartered Qantas 747-400.This is an annual even that our family friend has been on for the past 10 years playing in a jazz band on board the plane.Essentially it is one big party for over 40's with unlimited booze, live music and lots of fun. They have Antarctic experts commentating and also an MC to keep things interesting. The flew over the Antarctic for about 3 hours allowing for heaps of pics. they arrived back at 10am (3hrs late).I might ask for this for my 40th b'day pressie and it would be an awsome event. Here are some pics from point and shoot digi out of the window. They also supply a DVD video all for $1,000 per person. From memory the place that arranges it is called Croydon Travel if you are interested.I hope you enjoy the pictures.
