It also means that a few of the bumpers/guards around the front end and front wheel arches don't sit as solid. But the thing that bothered me most was the look, by that I mean if your standing in front of the car you can see the ground through the mouth on the front bumper which really annoyed me.As trough said it would no doubt help airflow down there and If you have one of the big rapid coolers then it might be a good idea to put it the guard back on to fully utilise your cooler. Rather than punching through the cooler and radiator.
