oh well, it was still a good price even for the small amount of work, and I don't think you'll need the muffler, you get used to the sound pretty quick

Your right senna_T it sounds very nice. Very V8 gurgly if you know what I mean, I like it.

And I found the reason it was so cheap, when I originally put it in to get it done I asked if I could keep my old center muffler so I could put it back on if I didn't like it.

I got my T back and took it for a drive and I did like the sound but when I went back to go get my muffler anyway I found that rather than undo the bolts to pull off the whole muffler and piping they just CUT off the muffler about 3mm out from each side. Obviously they just welded the new bits of pipe on.

Not very happy about that but the sounds good anyway.

Thanks for all the advice.

that's what I had done to mine. the fella who did mine didnt have any of the flanges as they have odd ones on the T's exhaust, so he just cut and shut with pipes. I like it, gives the car a bit of an "agricultural" feel to it. but that's just me. dont worry, she'll be right......you wont wanna put the old muffler back on anyway.
