Thanks for that pic to! Just gotta hope I have enough clearance between the I/C and my PWR trans cooler. The trans cooler is mounted to the radiator. Ive shifted it as far back toward the motor as possible so fingers crossed it will be ok......... Fitted it all up this on saturday. I made things difficult for myself due to the fact that I had fitted a PWR Aux trans cooler onto the A/C condensor. This made things very very very squeezy.... Main problem was that I mounted it as low as possible to allow clearance for the stock I/C. I also shifted the horns to underneath the drivers side guard, there was a hole already there for the mounting bolt and a big hole for the wiring!!! Perfect. So I ended up having to drill new holes for the lower radiator support and shift it further back towards the engine. I also had to grind about 2mm out of the backside of the bumper renforcement bar, to allow safe clearance for the intercooler. Because I had to the intercooler further forward then normal I also had to frig around with the mouning brackets. I drilled a new hole in the reo bar on the drivers side, on the passenger side I redrilled a new hole in the bracket. Was a bit of a gin around took me most of saturday to get it sorted. But it turned out ok. Was going to fit the UBP at the same time but im still running a stock tune. So that can wait until I get a custom tune. Horn relocation: Trial fit showed a lot of fouling:Lack of clearance between Trans cooler and I/C:Lack or clearance between I/C and bumper reo bar:Soloution was to drill new mounting holes in the lower radiator support bracket to move it back:That gave me some clearance along with using the angle grinder on the back of the reo bar:Had to modify the I/C mounting brackets a little and drill some new holes: Now I had plenty of clearnace: All done: Now just gotta sort out the issue of the bottom of the intercooler fouling on the new Typhoon bumper bar.... Didnt see that one coming... Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/39126-monza-install/page/2/#findComment-600092 Share on other sites
