fair enough, what about a manifold made up to suit the TC head and whack a 600 holly on it? get rid of the wiring and go old school with a newer engine.

Im not talking big power gains over what can be done with whats there, just somthing DIFFRENT.

Get it?

Somthing that you dont see every day... :bangcomputer:

The Late model camira girls follow each other around like sheep, same mods, same this same that. I like to be diffrent and simply have a few ideas do BE diffrent but people seem to think its stupid, no reason, dosent make sense. Maybee not, But could you imagine if the car industry was made up of one make and that was holden?

Every one would be driving a bloody commodore!!!

Hey Falcman,

Welcome to the forums. Mate the reason the fellas above are saying forgot about it is the sheer cost and time required to develop something like that. All of the water pockets, gaskets, timing gears, intakes..... all will not line up. In short you would have to re-engineer the head or the block.

The recommendation of throwing even a standard barra engine is not a bad idea. Cheap for one, but power wise 180kw vs 120ish for an eb-ed 4.0l, would be good fun and lets be real, theres not a lot of eb-ed's headn around with decent power / falcon engines.

Good luck none the less and yes, it is good to have something a little different.

If the BA motor wasnt a straight bolt in affair to an EA-ED then it might be worthwhile but it is a straight drop in affair. ive got one.

Being different is good. Going slower as a result is just silly.

Is it really just a drop in? What about all the electrics /sensors/ airbags?
