Where at???

We found a .50 cal out between union reef and UDP falls years ago,

Kiwi mate was going to clean it up to fire it so we let him have it..

Actually I havent heard from him for years.......

I think you will find that is a .30 cal, .50 cal's had a solid barrel with no cooling cover shrouding the barrel and were twice as big as the puppy you are holding. Still a good find.

I agree, size would suggest .30, would say a 1919A4 but the bolt is to far back or a 1956 FN30, however .50 cal did come with peferated barrels, the M2 mounted on aircraft for example. Nice find, make a good door stop.

im not upset at all, I just enjoy it also cracks me up when all these ford fans suddenly turn into gun experts.

Quite a few members are in the defence force or work for defence, so we might know what we are talking about some of the time.
