Hey Guys, does anyone know if headstuds are a direct replacement, or do you have to re thread the block, the reason I ask is because I had a mate with a skyline (qualified mechanic) who was told ARP head studs would fit straight in, however once he has them fitted, they had stretched the block and squashed his oil gallery, needless to say, I don't want this to happen to my T when I put some atomic head studs in next week!

Any comments would be welcome!

Cheers,

Pat

Two questions...

1. Have you rung atomic and asked them?,

2. WTF do you need head studs for?

Im may be wrong but im 99% sure most of the big HP T's around still use Fords head bolts with no problems..?

I spoke to brad this morning and forgot to ask him :stirthepot: he did say that the standard ones aren't re-usable so it would be a good idea to replace them
