I'll put my hand up for this one had it before the last service at Westpoint, now seems to have disappeared.

Dont know if it's just me but every now and then I think it comes on but not as bad.

It does feel harmonic.

Called the service department after a couple of days as I had noticed it was gone, they couldnt recall and had no info as to what was fixed if anything.

Me thinks I may have this, as already mentioned the roads around brissy are sh*tty. But between 100 - 120 it's quite apparent.

Will be getting it checked out sooner or later.

Have tried a few more things, seems like it may have been from the I.R.S suspension, de-stressed it all, went for a drive, seems a bit better - will keep you all posted.

Cam ... was that a ute with the driveline vibration ?

I was told of an experience of a ute that was shaking itself to death at speed ... it was nearly impossible to dyno ...

they said the rear axle was probably siting up under load and the drive-shaft became eccentric .... an age old problem with live axles..

no .. it wasn't a ute ... IRS ... duhh ... oh well ...

sounds like it may have been fixed  but have you heard of any ute problems?

End of financial year clearance,

got my tigers rotated & balanced before the end of '03 financial year, thought I might get "little johnny" to pay a percentage. Picked it up afterwards & off I went without paying much attention. Gave her once over with the sponge next day to reveal an interesting fact. The tyre on the front right has had the 75 gram factory balance weight removed completely. Marks can be seen where it was located & I think one of the other wheels have had its weights shifted. This I believe will have been the culprit of my highway vibration, the officer in charge of finance drove "T" to Gympie (hell town) on the weekend & reckoned she's smoother than some of my 1 liners, not all of 'em though.

I had always been alarmed at the amount of weight on brand new wheels & tyres that "T" had & now it seems it was justifiably so! For the small cost associated with it I would recommend people experiencing any vibration to seek outside advice, a balance & an alignment
