August 11, 200719 yr #21 nah I did the opposite. I have a chair plug on the CROSSOVER PART of my engine. the BOV is completely exposed. I had a chair plug on that part with a 10mm hole for the flutter but I could hardly hear it so I took it off. I dont care about putting a filter on the BOV coz I dont reallly think its going to suck in a mass amount of air. down the track maybe I will..Yeah I am using the chair stopper with the 10mm hole myself. I am thinging about putting a filter on the exposed BOV though. Can someone suggest a filter made that will fit on easily?
August 11, 200719 yr #22 Monza ones fit great. They come with 3 different size fittings, one fits perfectly.I tried two types. One is the open round style with a closed top but the sides are open. This one works more better as it lets the air out easier. Mainly a whooosh sound with some tu tu tu when backing off hard.I tried their other type of filter. its fully enclosed on the sides and has three openings on the top of it (with foam material on the inside). As this is less efficient at releasing the air into the atmos, it gives a whoosh sound but a lot more tu tu tu sound even at fairly low speeds. This means the second filter is less effective at flowing the air, and hence I switched it back to the open style filter I mentioned earlier. I can post pictures if needed.

August 12, 200719 yr #24 Mine is similar to Post 64 except my filter+bov is facing the other way (spun around 180 degrees), and my filter is black (so it blends in more), plus I removed the 'plumb back' section of hose (which is blocked by an orange thing in that picture) and stuck a cap over the cross over part. This gives you more room to have the whole setup facing the other way. Edited August 12, 200719 yr by XF Falcon
