Omg, Yet Another Bov Mod Question

hi guys, I just need 2 really quick questions answered, im about to head to bunnings and autobahn to grab some rubber chair leg stoppers and a monza style filter....

Just before I head off....

1. What size chair leg stoppers do I need to buy, is it 1 inch?

2. They don't have monza filters but they do have some very similar DR1FT ones.... problem is they dont come with a size adaptor, just 4 different sizes... as far as the neck of the filter goes (that attaches to the bottom of the bov) would it be 20mm or 25mm that I need?

Chair leg stoppers are 25mm. Not sure on the drift filter. The monza one is around 20mm and comes with an adaptor to go back to your 25mm. I done this last weekend and it worked well.

I did the chairtip mod but when I blocked the BOV the flutter sound is not noticible at all from the outside of the car. it didnt work for me I dont know why. but when the BOV is completely open I can hear the BOV WHOOSSHHHHH sound pretty loud. why isnt myne fluttering?

Did you leave the bov on the pipe that comes from underneath the xover or leave it on the other side?

sorry im actually overseas in a place called cyprus :D bit far hehe. I didnt take the pipe coming from under the xover its still there. should I take that pipe off too and bloack the xover or what?

That's fine, leave it there. Just make sure the bov is still connected to that pipe and you've blocked off the other one that was connected to the bottom of the bov.

actually im on the turkish side of the border hahah. I did all the things I should be doin but I dunno. the flutter noise is so small I think I need a pod filter for it to actually go loud. who knows . doesnt matter ill try something else see if it works.

im going through a hole which as I heard makes some pretty loud flutter noise!! what if I disconnect the bov completely??

Yeah I dunno, I probably wouldn't.. maybe someone else will shed more light on this.
