Looks great man, real nice pic.

Just wondering, any reason why you went for cobalts for the first 2 gauges and then the Defi for the boost gauge?

It was cheaper then the Cobalt boost gauge to import and I also really liked the look of it. They make a nice group together I think.

Got mine in :beerchug: Took a while getting them in and had to modify the pod :buttonit: but got the in the end :spoton:

Still setting them up. Dont have the off power sequence going on the Defi, probably wont bother with it though. Also got a loose wire somewhere :tease:

But they do look nice.

does that defi boost gauge run off the defi control unit?

Finally installed my tripod which I must add is awesome (even if I broke one of the clips). Painted just the base in silver to match the ICC and put in blue ozegauge gauges (that's Scott). Looks awesome and I put in a night time shot to show the colour compared to the dash. Photos dont do it justice and gauges are a brighter blue rather than blue/purple, but looks great anyhow.

How many people actually removed the ICC or just tried running the wires down without removing it? Found the old thread on install and it refers to removing it, dont know about others but I'd rather avoid that PITA :)

Mate I installed the old fairmont clock boost guage and fed the wires down to the right and just popped out the traction control button, wired it to that so it come on when I turn the head light on like the rest of the dash, no need to remove the ICC also soldered them instead of using the pissy crimps that come with gauges hench the eletrical tape, power goes to blue red and neg to blue white.

mmm the cobalts probably are the most "factory" looking gauges out there so far, just a pity about the price really.

Im curious to see how the Pole Position ones look once photos of the real things are out.
