Well I took my car to NIZPRO last night to have my generic tunes assessed on the dyno.

I will post up graphs tonight after work.. car made 239rwkw on 10psi.. but the advance etc was all over the place!! ... I know.. that's why its generic :roflmbo:

Simon was less than impressed & advised I run the 220rwkw 8psi until I can get a custom tune ("..but I wouldn't run it with a mate in the car, pulling a boat on a hot day that's for sure")

So I plan to get nizpro tune ASAP!

once I get my injectors this weekend, I can book my car in.

My question is.. without thinking of more power, and more about reliable power.. do I need a cat and/or a cooler (process west stg 2) now?

I assume every1 will just say "get both".. but we dont all own companies :spoton:

Thanks :spoton:

Aamzing about the tune though. that's about the 6th one I have heard of.

As for mods, a cat will give you more power, but any sustained right foot action will see you robbed of power due to massive heatsoak.

Just get both! :spoton:

im going to say the opposite to envy and reccomend the cooler and pipes stage 2 pw as u said.

this will make at least 270/280 with injectors added....not sure really as every ones car is different.

it will be quiet and powerful and be safe on long bouts of spirited driving.

then later if u want more go the zorst and a quick tweak on the dyno. :spoton:

I agree with BFHOON

The intercooler will give you wayyyyyyy more consistency, and the power levels will kepp you happy for a long time. Although I have seen plenty of back to back tests on the dyno with logs to prove this and my own testing on a previous car I built and tuned using my inlet temp sensor and the aftermarket ecu I installed but don't take my word for it. I apparently have no idea.

yes the cat is a restriction at 280 this is why im not making more than 280 at the moment.

if it was one or the other I would get the cooler but id the budget allows get the cooler cat and dump pipe.

BFHOON wouldnt the CAT be a major restriction at 270-280rwkw??

I'd say get both.....

If the cat is a restriction. Would it help to get the centre muffler removed??

Very little.

Centre muffler removal will result in maybe 10rwkw's. Which is nothing, you'd never notice it.

The cat will get you around 30rwkw's.
