Anybody got the spare cash to convert there xr6 tubo to an Electronic Vehicle?

conversion kits for australia cant be more than a year or two away, did a search on google and theres loads of people converting there exsisting cars to run off the power grid, and not for a whole lot of money. I did a search on ebay and there is a guy selling a couple of E-Books, one on how to convert any car to run off electricity, and another to make a hydrogen generator for any car so you can fill up a tank full of water and have it make hydrogen which runs your cars engine.

anybody got any thoughts on these things?

I was lucky enough to test drive the Lexus Hybrid around Sandown & I will say they are really impressive, they whipped the V8 model's arse all day long.

The take off speed was very impressive & it has no gears so the speed increases were constent.

People would be suprised at the performance.

are you sure it was a hybrid and not a complete electric? electric cars generally have no gears, where hybrid cars do, and still run on petrol most of the time.

found a site on the net where you can actually draw the dimensions of your gearbox and post it to them, and they will make you a mounting bracket to connect an electric motor to your exsisting drivetrain.

Those hydrogen generators make about as much power as an electric supercharger - save your money.
