Hi Guys

Just had some slotted rotars fitted along with EBC Red ceramic pads at the front and EBC Green at the back. Only done about 70km and they squeel quite bad is this normal for this style of pad or will it take time to wear in correctley.

Cheers

Both those types of pads are a hard type of compound which will squeal. Also it may be due to the dust in the slots.

I have Ferodo formulas 2000 pads and they did not squeal until they saw two track days and 15000ks. I have DBA slotted 4000s also.

keep in mind those pads take about 200 to 300k's of easy driving to bed them in. If you went out and belted them from new they may be glazed up.

Guys, just out of curiosity are you impressed with performance though, despite the squeal?

Very happy with the performance, I am still driving easy to bed them in but you can just feel the massive differance compared to stock (with brake shudder ) money well spent $1000 fitted.
