X-Force is one of the more popular "name" brand ones around. There are others such as DiFillipo or APS which are similar in spec and price. Depends too on what you are wanting to achieve by fitting an exhaust - is it different/better sound or more power? What power do you have now and what power level are you planning for the future? Stock exhaust has a 3" dump I believe which is OK for over 300rwkw, the rest of the stock system is twin 2.25". So if you were to upgrade you would need at least 3.5" single or twin 2.5" - mandrel bent (no kinks in the bends). Price wise you are looking at about $2K for a full system fitted, maybe less if you shop around. Most trendy aftermarket systems seem to be Stainless Steel too (uneccessarily IMO) which is why they are so pricey.Edit: Just noticed you have an XR8 so all this info I just posted is probably irellevent. Just wondering why you come to XR6 Turbo forum to ask what exhaust suits a V8? Edited 14/03/07 08:28 PM by Falchoon

Its mandrel bent, and living in an area where rust isnt a prob, and you dont look underneath the car very much, I will go mild steel.Just stock power levels at the mo, but once I've got the exhaust I intend to do CAI, custum tune and probably a few handling upgrades. Not that theres anything wrong with how the XR8 handles! Haven't heard much about Berklee except for the fact that they do make the Brute Utes exhausts, but they'd probably be pretty good. We chose the Herrod quad cat-back in s/s for the GT for ADR compliance purposes. Plus its bloody well made but pricey.
