NeedmorePower Member 192 Member For: 20y 10m 7d Posted 04/03/07 06:59 AM Posted 04/03/07 06:59 AM this is the story..last night went to my sister inlaws house went to kmart then filled up as the car was almost empty filled it up with bp 98, drove back to there house 5min drive then parked the car. started the car and drove off 30sec's down the road the car started to play up at the lights. It was like it was running on 5 cylinders.pulled over and flashed the computer with my tune, did the same thing, flashed it again (same problem). disconneted the battery same sh*t again. tried flashing it back to stock it started but the idils were funny, slowly took it back home.next moring the car didnt wont start, motor turns but not actually running.im taking it to the wog monday morning but ill would like to know if any1 has had this same problem as me...it might be the petrol it could be something else... let me know if u have any suggestions thanks guys.

It didnt start immediately after this happened and when it did, its idle quality was that of a V8 equiped with a massive solid cam!As soon as I got it home, I re-flashed it and it was fine..

Posted 04/03/07 08:08 AM Posted 04/03/07 08:08 AM your fuel could be contaminated??I had similar problems a while back, car was running like cr*p, so I took it to ford who found that the fuel was contaminated. (Bp in Doveton). Luckily for me Ford fixed my car under warranty and eversince I keep all my fuel receipts.Hope your's is a minor issue mate. San.
NeedmorePower Member 192 Member For: 20y 10m 7d Posted 04/03/07 08:08 AM Author Posted 04/03/07 08:08 AM yeah will c what happens 2morrow wog said its got nothing to do with the tunes(nizpro's tunes) im thinking about doing new plumbing and cooler once its there might aswell, as I have the standed piping and just the stockie wog cooler.. any suggestions on that guys. $1700 for the plumbing and cooler, has many tried his kits on the track...as mine ran a 12.4 with 275kwrw stock tranni and factory cooler and fuel pump. also 19 unknown rims at the back with hankooks
