I saw a beautiful red GT with black stripes on the road yesterday and it looked awesome. I must admit, I have had a few wicked thoughts lately. I wonder how much I would get for a trade-in on a 6 month old T. I love my Phantom but the GT is just that little bit more 'horn'.

Anyone else had these thoughts race through their brains ??

Yep Robbo,

The feral thoughts started a few months back, and finally last month we gave in and bought one.

Roll on August.

Yours is well documented Mondie. :-)

Why aren't you looking at a trade in ??

I'm reasonably certain my dealer would look after me very well if I told him of my evil plans.

OK, I did today, there were two times on the open road (back road) when I was stuck in traffic, went for the gap reasonable gently (that is not enough to have the car kick down a gear) and then had the little response - bang down a gear - full speed ahead - sort of scenario.

It is a just of turbo sort of thing that isn't really that smooth. It is avoided by buying the manual and looking ahead, or, moving the auto SSS to the left and looking ahead.

Or, buying a V8.

I'm up for the manual V8. So that those that are barely paying attention in the passenger seats don't notice the difference.

In the Turbo - its' - slow done - that was too much throttle! etc etc
