X-force... Yet Again.

G'day all,

Just reading through BCLs nizpro stage 2 install on his F6 thread, and finally saw a picture of the X-Force twin 2.5inch exhaust. (thanks BCL)

Judging by the pictures it looks a similar shape to the stock system.

So does anyone know if the Xforce Dump/Cat/Transition Pipe, will bolt up to the existing system?

You wouldnt expect it to, but it wont be hard for an exhaust shop to weld up some flanges for you and fit it up

Yes it will bolt straight up to the flange

I had the front half done dump, cat and intermediate bolt up to the stock rear section before I went for the full system

is there much difference in price between this and a full system?

Are the stock pipes only 2.25?

I measured the stock pipes as 2 1/8" ID, the x-force as 2 3/8" ID.

Normally quoted figures are OD.

I don't know about the centre muffler, but the rear muffler on my F6 is a straight though muffler, so my guess is that using a upgraded dump and cat would work quite well with a stock mid and rear section (I'd guess up to 350rwkw)... assuming the stock centre muffler is straight through .... someone could confirm this.

If you wanted a cheaper solution it sounds feasible.

This is a gut feel, and some testing could verify it.

Whats the diameter of the stock dump pipe?

3inch... its a pretty good pipe compared to alot of standard dumps, the wastegate transion isn't the best though.

the centre muffler drops down in diameter to under 2in, its quite restrictive
