Should look good im not keen on the round lights dont like corvette/skyline rear lights. Cagey Member 36 Member For: 19y 2m 17d Posted 22/02/07 07:17 AM Share Posted 22/02/07 07:17 AM Jarrah ull get a deep rich red/brownlook into brushbox not as dark as jarrah (like a gallah's feathers lol) more pinks an grays but still very hardon the other hard try a light colour timber...hard rock maple ( from california or canada) very very hard and comes up really nice when oiledor even try tasy oak. we do alot of stair treads at work with tasy oak very durabledepending on wot colour your car is a dark/light contrast mite look coolblack body light timber traybut do definatly use a hard wood. I really want a dark red finish but a light colour would look good aswell. How much do you think it would cost to put tassy oak or brushbox on the tray? phantom ute Member 105 Member For: 18y 9m 16d Gender: Male Location: Sydney Posted 23/02/07 12:12 PM Share Posted 23/02/07 12:12 PM a better timber than Jarrah to use is Quilla when polished looks the same as Jarrah but it is a tiffer timber and last longer in th weather it is the same timber used to make jetties.my parents have a jarrah table and the chairs are Quilla they were oiled at the same time and the jarrah table needed polishing again before the Quilla chairs. Sorry about the photo. Was on a old phone. There is a bionic tornado geeting around Mackay and looks good. Must be a work ute as he has 2 great big aluminium tool boxes on the back.Also there is a xr6 in at Frendley Motors.Bit not sure if it has a wood floor.
