Otherwise there would have to be a liability for any abuse or damage, wear and tear etc..Although there's probably not much reason they couldnt pick up a modified import for around 10k and use it legitimately.

Where bouts did you spot this, champion?I.B.im not sure if its complete BS. when I was in sydney 3-4 weeks ago I was staying in bronte in eastern suburbs and the bronte police station had a vl calais turbo out the front. my mate who lives there says its always there parked in the police bay parking on the side of the road with all the other cop cars. its a dark blue/purple over silver trim with a matouks racing sticker on it.just happened to be going past when 2 cops getting in it and taking off. ?? sounds weird because why would they downgrade to use it for a cop car?must say it looked pretty cool sitting amongst the the ugly ve patrol cars. maybe someone local knows about this?
